Description
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
The invention concerns a device which can be implanted in the body. The device comprises an electrically conducting support covered with a layer of electrically conducting polymer, to which layer is attached at least one biologically active substance of an anionic or cationic nature.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS
The invention can be used in the treatment of various conditions and in particular of endoprosthetic thrombosis and of restenosis in the field of coronary angioplasty and of peripheral arterial angioplasty.
